Echo Lake

History: The Echo Lake area was used during the 1930's as a winter
sports playground.  Activities included jumping, alpine and cross country
skiing.  Cross country skiers enjoyed a mile trail from the lake to the
Lincoln Lake region. The area also offered a tobogganing hill. Echo Lake
currently operates as a Denver Mountain Park and is still widely used by
Denver residents for winter recreation.
Directions: From Denver take I-70 west to S.H. 103
