History: Marble Ski Resort opened for the 1971 ski season with only
snow cats.  The following year they contracted Riblet to install a double
chair up the main run.  The hill was about a mile long.  Many more ski lifts
were planned for the resort as well as base facilities.  Plans were
cancelled during 1974.  According to The Colorado Skier, the area was
never a big hit with the Forest Service, town, or the public.

Please Note: This area is on private property - no trespassing!
