The High-Speed Quad
Here is a short description of how a Leitner high-speed quad works.  
The lift pictured below is located at Sol Vista Ski & Golf Ranch in
Grandby, Colorado.  Pictures thanks to Jeff P. and Brad C.

This lift was built in 1999.
Here is the lift's bullwheel.
There are a couple towers.
...A chair in the base terminal.
The tension terminal is located at the
base.
A chair is ready to leave the base station
and return on the cable.
Here are the rubber tires that guide
chairs through the base terminal.
This is the Leitner detachable grip, which
is very similar to the new CTEC design
The picture above shows how the chairs
leave the cable in the terminal.
