* Elevations: Summit 8,500 feet; Base 8,100 feet; Vertical Drop 400 feet
* Runs: 4 beginner - advanced
* Season: Jan - Mar (Friday - Sunday only)
* Average Snowfall: 75"
Lifts: 1 platter (stats: Built by Poma with a length of 1355', 305' vertical,
capacity of 600 pph, and a speed of 420 fpm)
Facilities: Ski Patrol; Rentals; no snowmaking!
History: This area was constructed in 1962 as a private ski ranch.  It
opened to the pubic in 1966 and was later sold to the city of Gunnison
under the fact it would always be operated as a ski area.  
Location: Take Hwy 135 north from Gunnison to CR 10.  Follow CR 10
for 2.7 miles to the base area.
