History: This area was described in the White Book of Ski Areas as
being a beginner hill with about 650 skiable acres. The area run by the
Tamarron Resort, which is located nearby. In 1981, the area expanded
its verticle drop by over 100 feet when it invested in a Borvig double
chairlift. The lift was 481 feet in length and had a vertical drop 169 feet.
Its capacity was 1028 people/hour, while its speed was 350 feet/minute.
There are unconfirmed reports that the area had trouble with the chair
and this possibly led to its closing. If anyone has any additional
